Founded in 2010, Grace and Grooves is a Texas-based performing arts organization delivering structured, curriculum-driven training across multi-genre disciplines.

​Over 14+ years of continuous operations as a registered company (est. 2012), the organization has developed a founder-led model focused on cultural education, performance training, and long-term student development.

Leadership – Artistic Director & Founding Solo-Director – Hetal Joshi Nagaraj (2010–Present)

Hetal Nagaraj is a performing arts educator, choreographer and cinematographer with over 25 years of experience across India and the United States, leading curriculum design, choreography, and program delivery across all training divisions.

​​​​Hetal Nagaraj began her performing arts journey in India in 1994 and transitioned into independent teaching and choreography by 1999. After relocating to the United States in 2004, she continued developing structured Indian folk and Indian classical dance programs for youth and community platforms.

​By 2010, she formally established Grace and Grooves, which was registered as a company in 2011-2012 and has since evolved into a multi-genre performing arts training institution based in the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

• 44,000+ structured documented performing arts training classes delivered since inception
• 4,000+ student program completions across multi-genre disciplines
• 300+ performances, showcases, and productions delivered
• 200+ workshops, lecture demonstrations, and community programs conducted

Programs are offered across recreational, regional, spiritual, faith-cultural, and performance-based tracks, with progression from foundational training to advanced choreography and stage production. 

​PROGRAM MODEL

Grace and Grooves operates on a curriculum-based training system with defined levels, technique development, and performance outcomes. The model integrates choreography, music, stage production, and cultural education into a unified learning framework that enables students’ growth.

The organization has expanded its activities to include:

  • Workshops and large-scale training programs (50–2000 participants)
  • Artist development and mentorship initiatives
  • Cultural event production and collaborations
  • Media, choreography, and performance consulting
  • 60+ Official Brand Serices Documented Outcomes

​RECOGNITION & STUDENT OUTCOMES

Students and programs have been recognized across community, cultural, and competitive platforms in India and the United States. Graduates have progressed into independent teaching, choreography, and participation in national and international-level programs as well as competitions and culture awards. Further more, student outcomes have 9 Documented Elite Lines while the others await the next.

COMMUNITY & CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT

The organization has contributed to community-based initiatives including comparative, explanatory, workshops by genre, styles and demonstrations along with performances, various non-profit collaborations with various faith organizations, and cultural programming designed to support youth development and performing arts accessibility. Independent fundraisers by Hetal Nagaraj has contributed to upliftment of cultural initiatives and vertical growth of company graduates and post-graduates-Elites.

​GROWTH & OPERATIONS

Programs are currently delivered across multiple locations in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with continued focus on scalability and curriculum development and internationally as well in more than 2 countries through project allocation.

Since its founding, Grace and Grooves has grown through a founder-led model, initially operating through limited weekly programming and expanding into full-time structured training by 2019.
