The original video file often contains:
Creation date/time
Recording date/time
Device used (iPhone, Android, camera model)
GPS location (if enabled)

On Windows
Right-click the video file
Select Properties
Click Details
Look for Media Created or Date Taken

On Mac
Right-click the video
Select Get Info
Look for Created and Content Created
Or open in Photos and view Info
2. Use a metadata viewer

Tools that show more metadata:
ExifTool
MediaInfo

These can reveal hidden timestamps that Windows or Mac may not show.

3. Compare file dates

A file can have multiple dates:

Date Created (when copied to current location)
Date Modified (when edited, editing could be as simple as captions or any hidden hologram like we have at grace and grooves – hidden hologram!)
Media Created / Recording Date (when filmed)

The Media Created date is usually closest to the real recording date. There could be slight variation of month since i-cloud gained popularity much later in iphones and such devices as online-storage media.
