Stage performances representing company or Hetal Nagaraj Dance-International or internship is different story and thus belongs to company or Hetal Nagaraj Dance-International me as a solo owner. Not to students. Students can use it as “learned” not as “theirs”. They can show it as “dancers” not as instructors.

My own example —

Also, this being said when i talk about 1999 independent batch of mine, it was exclusively my first batch without my mentors or gurus—-on my own as full graduate.

1999 is the year of completion of my independent-batch. One cannot calculate the year of beginning as independent educator aka guru.

As the completion of batch is considered as the milestone! Not the beginning of the batch. My internships were over just a year before and thus, all of my prior to 1998-1999 makes me a dancer-artist and not an independent educator.

If i was with any company that i would work for then it will be under the direction of or director’s name. But i never worked with any company.

Technically director and company owner pays to various services to provide you a readymade infrastructure or in order to create it. But that does not give you right to waste it. Terms vary. #Right

On other hand, when student pays for fees, student pay to learn .

Just like i pay to master specialities to learn so it goes in my experience, my trainings or background. That experience can make me own the trainings i take and not the work.

My trainings in certain specialities with certain master level personalities becomes my skills.

You all own the university “curriculam or trainings” when you pay the fees ? hahaha.

No – you all own the degree or the certification, or the course aka skills learned from it.

When in teachers training institute like mine, you learn certain specialtiies pertaining to training and development as well along with being a dancer or just recreation. Something just a little above! A proper curriculam is by all means needed to have fun .

2026 May 31 :

20 years back(2005), i choose DFW, Texas when given choice of California or New York b’coz of family planning years, support system of huby’s college friends, my parenting-due date clubs(some were here), my classmates & seniors(not plano frisco) but Keller, Southlake, Grapevine(Latin, Couple Dances), South Irving, & Fortworth.

My employers were not fraud desi companies! Mine were american multi-national & most bosses were whites. It is not same as denial of any type or h1-b type of immigration system . #Exactly

I was never out of status, my records are up to date—thanks to my american employer, and i did not even initiate my business life until my EAD as in legally permitted to lot of activities and right when my family life settled, some more of my due date friends moved to me. Literally just that. It takes alot of effort to do it right, unlike any of them. On paper. #YES

As a profession, Hetal Nagaraj is immigration consultant for private sector and has worked as business development and advisor for immigration. Speciality includes – Student Visa, University Placements, Educational Programs, Internships and Externship Policies, Compliance, Immigration Insurance, Immigration Policies, Family Migration, Speciality visa(s) to name a few. #Right

Ms Hetal’s own H1 was denied twice because Ms Hetal was a fresh IT-graduate but then she was with her previous company as a brand promoter and thus, Ms Hetal could instead open her own IT company after she received EAD.

It was because of Ms. Hetal’s scholar status, she was eligible for several US projects, freelance activities because of her exceptional educational background during college years. Those who do not know, Ms. Hetal cleared TOEFL, GMAT too in her college years (Penn State, New York Uni, Cali State Uni) and was invited by her own internship companies to open offices in in New York as well as California (other than Johannesburg and London) in several STEM and Management CRM research programs as she build a successful intranet systems, inbound call center and outbound CRM within company for Sales and Marketing Departments to measure the Sales and Analytics.

Ms. Hetal Joshi M – USA/America’s does not do business visa(s) because of its limitations and does not recommend at all. People who intent to stay in USA for longer time (than their visa permits) are encouraged to change their status before or during the 3-5 months probation period. Business visa or anything with Ms. Hetal is strictly for people who can maintain their business relations with continuous seeding project specifications in country.

It is compulsory. No Exceptions. #YES

Ms Hetal’s own companies never have H1-B holders or business class visa(s). Those come with lot of restrictions and limitations to work around the fields. #YES

Ms Hetal’s work involves around transparency of immigration status (as regular id check is required by the venue itself) and thus, status is always required. Individual is required to regularly keep their status updated and regularly report whenever asked because of anticipated future project timelines. #YES

Thus, Ms Hetal cannot afford to have any other visa status other than above. In entire company’s history, only one person was offered a full 40 hr H1B because of individual’s potentials and the individual had a STEM degree as well as the experience she could use of Ms. Hetal’s company(in IT as well certain tasks were assigned such as regular update of backups on online systems to name a few). The individual could not take it because of family planning. #YES

Knowing this, Ms. Hetal Nagaraj thus, never applied for anybody’s company either until she opened her own. People do ask for resume to see where the knowledge comes from and that’s normal. Ms. Hetal was always too occupied in her own life for dance (part time) to consider any commitments in dance per se. Specifically, to Grace And Grooves Corp By Hetal Nagaraj. By that time, Ms. Hetal opened her own so never applied to any dance companies. Collabs are listed as is.

Most or all are citizens, green card, students visa with min 2-3 year tenure, or h4 ead. Speciality visa are strictly by project within the permissible immigration status to conduct any activity or projects.

Fun Fact – Chapter Many May Not Know

The idea of establishing a dedicated studio space was actually proposed much earlier, around 2013–2014, when opportunities were being considered along Beltline near the Sai Temple area, Coppell. This was during her first shoot for a gym commercial as Ms. Hetal had a seeding contract, for herself until 2015. #Right

Around the same period, Coppell Dance Center on beltline/macathur was preparing for a transition toward the 121/Lewisville–Denton Tap area, creating an availability of Ms. Hetal Nagaraj‘s own infra if Ms. Hetal Nagaraj was interested in taking up the whole lease as is. Studio was built on solid flooring unlike the floating ones.

At that time, Ms. Hetal Nagaraj made a conscious decision not to proceed with a full lease transfer or immediate studio expansion. The decision was not due to lack of students, demand, or community support—it was based on timing, own professional priorities, and long-term planning of own kids trainings.

During that phase:

Hetal Nagaraj Dance-International was working with growing student groups across multiple locations, including South Irving, Keller, and Southlake. There were 25 students in each location as the program was initiated in company’s name in 2010.

Ms. Hetal had just resumed her IT career path after a professional break because of young kids and her trip to India in 2010 awaiting EAD-GC status. Her children were in elementary school, requiring significant time and involvement. Many classes and activities of own kids for non-dance activities required back-to-back weekday commitments. Her husband, Nagaraj, was traveling Monday through Thursday, creating additional family scheduling considerations. During that time, Ms. Hetal Nagaraj‘s inlaws’ were younger but her mother in law developed spinal injury making her physically challenged to handle young kids for longer hours. #Right

With those responsibilities, Ms. Hetal chose sustainability over rushing into expansion. The decision allowed her to continue building strong foundations, develop systems, and grow at a pace aligned with long-term goals. Foremost of all, allow her to have undivided attention to her own kids and family.

The space behind/near sai baba temple on beltline and macarthur was then leased to a university freshman year college kids for their bollywood dance school-go figure which one.
