  Background – Instruction rooted in the Kalakshetra tradition, with comparative learning and educational exposure to the Pandanallur and Tanjore traditions, helping students appreciate the stylistic diversity and historical evolution of Bharatanatyam. More about Ms. Hetal’s Speciality.
• Historical understanding of Sadir, the predecessor of modern Bharatanatyam, and its influence on today’s classical repertoire.
• Adavus (foundational movement vocabulary).
• Abhinaya (expressive storytelling).
• Nritta (pure dance technique).
• Natya (dramatic expression and character portrayal).
• Nritya (dance with techniques and expressions)
• Rhythm, musicality, and performance training.
• Introduction to the Natya Shastra and classical performance principles.
• Jatis, Nattuvangam recitation, and foundational Sanskrit shlokas appropriate to each level.
• Performance etiquette, stage discipline, and presentation skills.
• Annual recitals, dance productions, lecture-demonstrations, and cultural performances based on student readiness.
