For those who don’t know, Ms. Hetal’s own daughter has full 5+ years of trainings in institutional/educational/dance school/non-commerical – tap, jazz, ballet as pre-competitive and competitive dancer/teams/city and state level before she moved to Indian Dances and recreational-hiphop training.
Her daughter’s main reason to leave non-indian dances was that she was the only Indian there and was feeling left out as she moved to higher levels of trainings and dance accomplishments in competitions. Her daughter left the trainings in all the non-indian dances in 2011 and moved to Indian dances from 2011 onwards. She is currently national level(straight decade for 3 genres of indian dances) as well as paid dancer / model and continues taking her advance trainings for performing arts including hiphop. She made wonderful friends throughout her journey of non-indian performing arts and collaborations continued for the fun of it with full trainings & safety, from 2011 and onwards. Even her own choreographers and their affiliates were invited to give the lessons for teaching techniques by hour and all students actually took them by class. See our collabs here.
Right after that, 2011 onwards to 2021, Ms. Hetal met lot of other parents who were in same boat as her own daughter and Grace Creations was formed in 2013 considering Ms. Hetal straight background and wonderful healthy – friendships.
Her experience of working with niche artists of performing arts industry made a very strong impact on Ms. Hetal’s existing institutional knowledge and expertise that she had gained in India from/with her own teachers. Having worked with institutional performing art schools & institutes/their choreographers in non-indian performing arts – so often;here in USA, she gained several insights that were not possible to achieve under Indian performing arts.
Diversity has always been part of Hetal’s life right from her school and college days. With this, it was even easier to connect the dots. Even her first batch of hiphop students in Irving-Texas were a perfect blend of diverse students from Indians to Mexicans, Americans, French and those who were born in diverse families when she started her hiphop classes first time in 2014-2015. While some students who had joined hiphop programs were pure desi/Indian students who loved the peppy beats of bollywood songs that had hiphop beats and came from non-classical backgrounds/environments. Ms Hetal was looking for right venue from 2018-2019 itself right before the pandemic of Covid started. Covid sort of slowed down the plan and getting a right venue was important to her. The place that fits her requirement of performing arts studio, properties that meet certain criteria to avoid too much of structural remodeling and other factors as first timer. Getting right people was other issue too. These criterias were her priority. She has always been over-achiever in her life and with this, possibilities were endless. Finally, in 2020, she found this place in Arlington that met her requirements and budget-Both. It is like when you find the right place, you just grab it. Rest will follow. G2 dance factory is the place where dance-form/genre specialized dances will be taught and fusion for those who are interested or fully trained already. Having a venue of your own 24×7 opens to whole new possibility and speeds up process too.
In 2020, g2 dance factory was formed under Hetal Nagaraj and venue-papers were signed in Arlington, Texas, USA. The idea and thus the brand was created by Hetal Nagaraj to create beautiful dances with our own teams under her leadership and choreography with full trainings of all techniques. Thus, hire some of the finest people that had good experience to get it done-right! While working with outside choreographers and her affiliates, there were limitations. By the time it was 2019, Hetal actually took trainings and taught these dance forms and saw what was causing those problems. G2 Dance Factory was then formed to enter the world of Non-Indian Performing Arts with full trainings. She continues to teach hiphop and contemporary currently in Lewisville and Frisco, till date-seperate batches. Since G1 would be Grace And Grooves Group of Companies as in Indian Dances. G2 it would be – for the next!
The center will also offer some of the oldest Indian Martial Arts Forms as part of their programs. Martial Arts is part of performing arts and dance as well. In India, it is performed both the ways. Ms. Hetal specializes in 3 Martial Arts Forms of India (Kalaripayattu-Dance And Martial Arts, Chhau-Dance And Martial Arts and Kshatriya – Purely A War Art Form) and teaches these as part of Martial Arts as well as Dance Both by curriculam in Lewisville and Frisco, Texas. Till date, each of our venues/city had atleast 10 years of operations and thus the graduates, by genre and location. We are looking to get into permanent locations-next!
Her graduates too teach but under their own names and under her. That is why, productions are under Ms. Hetal’s exclusive name and she gives out about 3 productions in a year each are by genre. Till date, maximum number of students in these productions are her-own first hand students that perform in productions;they actually sign up under her for lessons each year. It is 2021 and she still teaches. International artist from 2014-2015 onwards and she performs by genre for paid assignments (solo mostly or with her teams) and has worked for several artist -management companies as freelance and on request. She performs in her own shows very often, by genre of her own specializations. Each of her productions have about 70 students just as part of productions that take trainings and do it year by year.

Investor – Producer, Director & Principal Instructor as well as passive investment thus teams were hired – G2DanceFactorybythesettys North America USA was my largest solo-owned independent venture (venue leased via property management). Unfortunately, during that time, we had delays from the building owner’s negligence in securing previous building permits(city ones) that led to the loss of several major seeding projects.
It took me months to create, propose, and secure dates by availability of everybody, venues, and preparations only to lose it all to some delays of property management company’s negligence and then the Texas All Star fraud. Those projects could have paid for all 13 Elite’s college fees!
Elites were not confirmed on the dates as the venue was still pending and plans were falling through;we never take payment upfront since students are usually our own PR. As an Elite member handling non-party gigs, I always keep them informed of other smaller doable gigs which were also impacted because I had to part my time on all the mess.
Right after, we had Texas All Star Talents By Hetal Nagaraj fraud which created other mess and other financial setbacks leading to its pause. Those were big and were seeding projects that could have led to other amazing opportunities, and were exclusively by me and by dates specifically so that students can avail them. The rest is history as you all know it.

Dances are so much fun even within the dance form that students love it until they achieve epitome or mastery over it. After that, they continue with their further journey.
Dances are so creative that they love to not only perform but they love to get into internships because of the way they are lead to simple steps of success. Why burn out – when you don’t have to!
Dance have so much to offer for techniques, variety and beautiful environment that they learn, grow and achieve by their simple once a week or twice or thrice a week participation.

Lot of fun concepts are added to appeal newer generations. But what has concept to do with fundamentals or rules of performing arts ?

Once Upon A Time, We as Business Used to Give Alot in terms of GIVING BACK from hours of work to generating funds until the end of 2017……….
Here Is Why We Stopped From 2018 Onwards………!!!!
Ever heard of American Dance Schools / Studios doing that ? NOPE ? Why do Indian Dance Schools have to do it then ? ALL they do is recitals and productions! Having dealt with so many collaborations from various walks of life, we have known this! We do lot ofother non profit projects now and then but fundraising is not our mainstream!
Shortcuts in American Dance Schools ? Never heard of that. Why–asking for Indian Dance School to do it for sake of shows? How are you expecting them to GIVE – do fundrasiers when you have not made any efforts in giving them right students. So students have to stop learning and do shows?
Tests/Trials & Errors : Everything is testing for people who do everything wrong so yeah – go ask them to do fundraiser. They can do anything including your endless experiments at the cost of young kids because it is experiment for them. It is not intellegence having fun! In institutionalized training centers, we cannot afford to do an experiments on students who are learning to dance or have just mastered skills or put up shows. There is no room for trials and errors when students come regularly once a week or for basic practices.
Don’t mix innovations with trials/errors : To do innovations or research too-you need full knowledge to conduct experiments or the harm is dangerous.
Mainstream Artists. They work 9 to 5 or 12 to 9pm. It is their job like other jobs regularly. When you do 9-5 jobs, do you do charities for that ? NOPE. You get paid by salary or contract or its hourly. And you do not do charties. Do you ? You do charities when it is your extra business!
Full Time Artists. It is their job to do this work even if they do it for few hours as standard in week. Some devote their life to it! What have you given them when it comes to support financially that you are seeking donation from them? How is that fair ?
Type of business. Average turnover of this business is anywhere from 12 to 16 hours to min 3months for baisc skills even student is dancer. Unless you are into choreography teaching-it is not possible to get the results that fast.
More than 99% of dance schools prefer to be called as academies because of their lack of techniques or background and no techniques in focus/no training of teachers that are traceable.
If teacher has not learned, what will teacher teach! Educational knowledge is very different than practical knowledge. Practical knowledge does not teach fundamentals. In schools, teachers are NOT allowed to teach without certification and there is a reason for it. There is a reason for sub-teacher and process! So for a student to learn a good piece in that time frame unless it is advance student-it is not possible to bring out results.
With such a slow pace at beginners level to different levels of dances where students are still learning;charity events don’t happen even if you plan. As per school, students take their holidays. Yearly recitals bring funds to business and they are invested in infrastructure setup of students and growth of company. Focus is on learning. What are you thinking! Burning Out kids for the sake of events.No-thank You. Do you do that in proper schools ?
Why should parents or dancers pay for charities after paying for fees : When you have degraded the field of institutionalized trainingsasking artists everywhere to do FREE performances in the name of entertainment; why are you asking charities from them/using them again! Thats an abuse right there.
Costs of Performance Makeup & Accessories : To perform, makeup to costumes-everything comes with a price. And they buy it! or they rent it. It is not free. Even makeup costs about 200$ per year on an average for most artists. Makeup is not reusable and it expires. This means they have to be discarded even when not used to fullest! Several such examples of other items that are used in dances! Just so you know. Are you giving that from govt with any perks that you are expecting them to GIVE ? What were you thinking ?
Artist Maintenance : To maintain your body and health, there is lot of process that goes in it! From doing your training and other work out gimmicks. At times, taking extra trainings in fitness comes with price. For example, for several intense pieces of chhau and kalari, our owner had to go through 2months of vigourous training to give that effect. Are you paying for it ? do artists get those discounts there ? NOPE – they pay for it, they work for it, what are you giving that you are asking to GIVE. None of those fitness centers ever gave discounts on these. Our owner Hetal Nagaraj too trains herself regularly and refreshes her knowledge often-all of that is paid to various institutes from earnings. None local to Dallas Fortworth as there is nobody with that expertise here in entire USA but otherwise mostly from India-being birth country of our indian dances. Times, she has to travel to India too as requirement for local-residency-trainings for sometimes a week to 1month as it is required to be there. forcertain number of days! Who pays for it ? Not everything is possible online even in this pandemic situation after certain level of mastery. Are you considering that ? Did you ever think where that money comes from ? NOW, think!
You should rather ask for charities from doctors, enginners, architects and such other 9 to 5 mainstream people since most of you think that performing arts is not a mainstream (haha). Do you think that you are giving platform or doing a favor ? In that case, artist can create on their own platform! They don’t need you for that! An artist looking for experience is different matter than an established artist.
We are not choreography dance academy. We are training school with absolutely straight background and strictly curriculam based fun learning. This also means, people come to us to learn and have fun as recreational activity. They do not come here to target on fundraiser or an event and be done with it. We have had several batches who are not ready for our events sometimes. It is like that, what to do! See our choreography Based Non-profit Projects. Sure that is possibility but it depends on what we are getting otherwise it is waste of time : Coming Soon : Compilation of our projects! There is NO guarantee that our own school students will perform there. Outside students will be called seperately.
What is the value you have given to institutionalized trainings : If you are somebody who has not valued what it is to take trainings and what goes behind the scenes, you will most likely be somebody who will run down artists who actually work for it. What is the value you are giving to people who work for it. Why are you sending your kids to college when everybody knows that education is not the only way to establish businesses or earn money. What have you valued about our training dance schools that you gave them business and thus, are expected to GIVE ?
Earned it : Artist have earned it on their own and with their struggles — you were nowhere part of their journey. It is for theirs to keep and decide what they want to do with it. Lot of artists we have known over the years invest back in businesses or invest in their own further trainings as they do with legit business. Not just an activity. Why GIVE then. Give for what!
Loans and Approvals : It is very interesting to see that lot of banks or even lenders don’t consider it as profession or profit bearing activity. So yeah, why ask performing artist to GIVE then. Go ask those businesses for whom you have given loan credits and approvals with a specified category.
Why are you even considering artists to fund charity ? Go ask somebody else!
Invest time and money : Ask for discounts at Indian Dance Schools and not at other places! You want cheap – works – go to passionate people who teach you dance of absolutely NO VALUE – by heart.
What value it will give you-we all know. One more you-tube channel that you may possible land.
You might as well ask for charity from them in that case. Choreography is done very fast! Who cares then.
Parents pay : Parents pay fees of events, students pay fees, costumes are paid by them, tickets are bought by them, and yet only teacher gets the credit. Credit for what ? What did you give ? Nothing. You got paid for everything! Even profits were % or overcharged! Who paid-parents. Who should get the credits-Parents! Why only teacher?

Tax : What did you give artists when they perform and spend hours in makeup, costume and then stage performance. Any Tax Free priveledges ? NO. Artist has to pay everything & still pay for tax and then give fundraiser – No, thank you.
Being Grateful and so give : Grateful To What ? Artist dances, artist spends time to work for it, artist does makeup and spends for it, artist creates their own platform, artists pay for the advertisements without any perks from any govt and then they get their business. Everything they pay for it, what are you asking them to be grateful for?
Did your institution or organization or govt. gave anything to them that they are really grateful for ?
Something they have not worked for it. It is their reward. Some who go for those voting competitions actually ask their friends to get them votes/they beg for it pretty much! So what are you asking them to be grateful for.
Gimmick of certain sect or group : Veteran so get it done likewise – label it. Fraternity and so get it done like that. Support even if you are supporting wrong person for the sake of it. Kill other businesses no matter how good they are because they choose to not get into it. What did you give as veteran? you are a paid veteran, govt pays you to do your job, what is free ? Nothing. Where is giving part? You pay fees to fraternities to support you – what is free? Nothing. Go to them then. They will generate those support system for you to GIVE.
Goals Do Not Match : Goals of giving is different, goals of teaching are different. The moment you mix them-there are no results. Just damages either to students or everything else. There are ways to give to but this isn’t one.
Storage : Average cost of storage for props to everything else is anywhere between 60$ to 150$ just by month. Are storage facilities giving any perks towards this that all of sudden in fundraising, it is asked to GIVE these for FREE. Why so ? Rather would prefer renting it out, by piece!
Maintnance of Dance Accessories : Maintenance part of these props and costumes, average cost about 200$ per quaterly from sanitizing to keeping them up to date. What are you as organization or institution seeking this fundrasier giving priviledges to artists that they will use these for your events ? are you paying for the rentals of these props ? When given to rentals, they could earn a minimum of 25$ per costume or per prop or accessories. Why would they use it for your event-at no cost ?
Prop Making, Buying and Logistics : Most props or costumes are not made from scratch in US or are to be bought from other countries due to limited resources or unvailable sources or sometimes cost to make that. If created here, it adds to high labor. Artist pays for it to get them delivered safely. Any priviledges for it from govt or any institutions or any kind of discounts from these organizations for it ? Nope. That is it then-don’t ask for it.
An average number of hour to make 1 prop is anywhere from 2 hours to 4 hours. Under the leadership of Hetal Nagaraj, we teach that to our students and they make their props – it is theirs to decide what they want to do with it.
Why GIVE ? They would rather put it on sale or keep it as their own keepsake or who cares, they will leave it as is in their store room for future uses. Why GIVE for free. What did you contribute to their share that you are asking for it.
Venue Logistics To The Event : Loading and unloading costs are not free. It takes about 1 hour to load most shows’ props and students props or requirements. It takes labor to load & unload for it just one way. Then next is venue logistics! That adds to other hour. Per hour labor costs is 15$. What is FREE ?
Stage Lights, Stage Setup and Planning : Hours of Planning. Average hours to be paid for this is $12.5 per hour and onwards. What are you as organization doing to take care of this ? What is FREE ? Nothing. Even Stage hours are calculated by slots by hr.
Stage Manager and Prop Manager : Backstage mayhem, everything is charged. Who will do for FREE and how many times. We have get it done by paid services too, minimum 10, 12.5 to 15$. Volunteers always mess up the work as it is always first time for everything but for us-that show happens only once. So for me, i cannot afford to have interns all the time. Are you paying for it ?
Costume Preps and Costume Manager : If you are outside India, more than 50% of parents are clueless. on how to wear and what. Inspite of videos given ahead of time. We have had costume manager in past who have helped parents or their teams go through the process. How much can intern do single handed and how many interns will you have backstage. Is it already chaos. Ask to GIVE – make it tax free for these services.
Lesson Planning, Curriculam, Training Capsules/BenchMark & Notes : Hours of Planning. Average hours to be paid for this is anywhere from 15 to 30$. What is FREE ? These are not from youtube and such Freebies. Teachers have their own peers and gurus to pay too when getting these. Average time to upload videos itself is 15mins! If i were to hire somebody for this, they would charge me to create tutorials. Price. ofwhich is anywhere from 15$ to 50$ an hour. You cannot hire just anybody you want! Speciality matters.
Music Compositions : While lot of these are available on-line on various music channels or streamings, which ones are legit or FULL ? About none. So what is next ? get it made or remake from it or recompose! Costs to that too. What happens when you follow half songs that as a newbie you are not aware-that half is posted ? You will continue the mistakes and teach students too to continue that (LOL, it is actually funny when that happens).
Remakes & Recompositions : To compose and recompose the music dance pieces takes anywhere from minimum of 2 hours to 5 hours. Average cost if you seek expert help is anywhere from 15$ to 45$ an hour and you have to be with them! We make our music for several genres and with that, we know what it takes to recompose our own pieces from either original or from other composition to fit genre. Times we buy softwares and what not for it. As much as we absolutely love how we do it with results we get, What is FREE ? Nothing. Time is Money.
Training to Students for Music : Even we instruct our students, if you do not have to or don’t have to recompose the work, don’t go for it. If you don’t know, you will make a mess out of it. Composing or re-composing those music files requires training too! You cannot go around mixing anything you want without knowing what goes in there. All that hours are time we spend. Time is money. What to GIVE ? It is really a joke in that case to GIVE when the compositions are to be made from scratch. Any benefits in that getting new compositions at no cost ? Nope. Even our teachers charge for those when we buy from them or other artists!
Buying NEW Music / Compositions : While average costs of typical playlist is about 20$ for classical and folk piece collections from artists in original mp3, bollywood songs are available everywhere;some dvd with shipping costs. Big problem is when you are a dance school, even bollywood music doesn’t match the technique you want to reinforce and so we have re-compose or buy some music that is usually to be made and is not available for Free. You are not the only one owning it anyways if it is out there. A fresh piece of work to be made from scratch costs anywhere from 200$ and onwards. We have got them made and have known the drill.
Music Rights are not FREE : Music rights costs money too. what are you asking artist to GIVE in that case. Shouldn’t you be willing to give the music FREE in that case? If you are user on Youtube, that monetization does not belong to you unless you take a full permission from the original creator. Go and ask for fundraisers to those who steal these and use it for their monetary benefits. They can GIVE because they have stolen and have nothing to own anyways. So they are okay – Giving what is NOT THEIRS to keep. We have not known any established artist doing that. None. Most of the items that are out there are either used extensively enough and original rights stay with owner.
Practice Hours to put up show : Practice makes it perfect, once learned! Hours at times or at times days depending on model of practice sessions, dance form and dances. Not Free because instructor has to be present! Hourly cost of instructor is anywhere from 10$ to 30$ depending on level practiced or rehearsed. This is for in-house students. Out-bound students point number 64!
Advertising Cost : Advertising Cost to an event and everything else in between to prepare the material. ALL asks for money. Even if its a fundraiser. Nobody in business till date gave a discount on that. Did you get that done free ? Are you saying, absolute no time was spend on it ? Word of Mouth sale is good but works in some cases. Surprisingly, our best customers and long lasting customers were the ones that came with my ads and videos! They see it and they came. Till date, it is history. Lot of times, our owner avoids even telling people about her business.
Marketing Cost : Marketing cost of any event or dance school is just as time consuming as it is even for uploads! From posting ads, reaching out marketing agencies to going around and talking to businesses, texting, all of that costs time. Time is money! We have had parents do the work but yeah, that is not FREE.
Printing Costs, if any : Printed Materials are still in fashion for out of the digital media world. It just looks pretty to hand out and there is cost to it! From preparing those to printing those. Any perks to artists for these events ? Nope. Least we can do is put as an expense!
Venue Costs : 100s of $ and atleast advance booking of 1-2 years with deposit. Thank god that some cities do have non-profit event rates but still not alot and not enough! It is still large chunk of money about 700$ for. a decent event.
Costs of Runner/Front Desk/Hall Supervisor : Part of paid package or it is seperate from city or freelancers. They are a blessing but blessing is not FREE. In that case, i would still prefer paid event and not fundraiser.
Growth of Company and Infrastructure : Most artist that we know has goals of performing arts activities in giving better infrastructure to their students! Their goal is to give the finest trainings and roll out students who can handle institutionalized centers or create one or even university. NOT to do fundraisers!
On-site Shoot & Video : All the time volunteers in that too…result – other 100s of passionate video and photographers and. it is always first time that somebody messesup.
Photo & Portfolio of Artists : For those who know what that is, even for fun, why let it go to waste 🙂 Value !
Certificates : For a fundraiser certificates and curriculam, what is the value ? Giving back, colleges don’t really ask to burn and no-value dances. Preparing for an event for the sake of it without training from right people-where does it get you ? No college ever asked you to burn out.
Trophies & Medals : Value again! Who gets the main credit ? Fundraiser host – Not you as a student or participant.
Event Lineup & Coordination : Hours of labor goes in it. Volunteers again, everybody’s first time and yet everybody is NOT trained. Either to handle event, either to handle people or even kids. Result-chaos and mess & you bet, some take liberty to yell and shout back stage-WOW. So much for giving at the cost of everything else. That’s not a crown worth to wear with that hate! Horrible.
Social Media Setup and Announcements : All of these as well take up time, money and yet resources. Nothing is FREE even with Word of Mouth to Target right audience.
Dance Targetted to Event Results : Again and Again I see this. As a business owner, how are you planning your curriculam on events ? shouldn’t it be other way round!
Post Event Management : Event disengagement is anywhere from 1 hour to following days 4-6 hours. Yep, all that time you spend is money you spend. Are the Non.Profit NGO counting those for you ? Nope.
Followup, Post Event Marketting : Followup to disengagement of event itself costs about 4 hours of work. Even when at Grace And Grooves we are so well organized that our wrap up time is far more less than average dance academies or events that we have seen, still it is 4 hours.
Fundraising Contracts : Some Fundraising comes with contracts on funds or on other requirements. Seriously, i want to give but yeah there is contract for that. Most ridiculous part of it. Joke!
Fundraising Period and Freelance : Time duration is average of 6 months on most fundraising or by event. If its by contract, we do it mostly by a year full of activities from start to finish. But otherwise,
Freelance Artists and Fundraising : Hiring artists if we were to for additional highlights of the events will call for charges, or credits and other contracts are to be made depending on involvement of the artists or service providers.
Credits and Freelance Contracts : They all come with a price, time and copyright as well as legal bindings! From limitations to freedom, none of it is FREE. For some credits, licenses are to be taken!
Insurance and Fundraising : All the legit events asks for insurance and coverage waivers. Times, we have to use company insurance too and that is not FREE. This includes using it for Fundraising activities. The more you go commercial, insurance goes high! Risk 🙂
Tickets Management & Packages : All of this is by paid services. How much a person owning business can or will choose to spend time on it. The strings of endless volunteerism, is always a first time with no trained people doing this work and handling it very badly!
Sponsorship and Packages : To seek sponsorships and packages for the same, requires man power. tofollow up and trace as well as coordinate paperwork. With legit businesses, the cost goes high too. Yep-its all paid!
On-site Live Sponsorships : Onsite live sponsorships comes with local contracts, insurance and other man power to set that up if there is product showcase. ALL of that costs not only the run time of the show but stage preps.
Distribution of Sponsorships and Discounts : Distribution of sponsorships and discounts associated calls for somebody with expertise in field and that is not FREE. While there may be people doing it for FREE, it doesn’t usually happen so often. Following up for support itself starts at 15$ an hour. It is not front desk manager’s work and not an intern’s work either. This person has to understand not only performing arts for all the services offered but legal contracts and basic knowledge of submissions with legal matters. So if the experience doesn’t call for it in the resume or any knowledge associated to it-we cannot sit and teach you that!
We are not an intern school-you may take up some other facility for that. We are proper school where students learn not only to dance but as they graduate, they learn other matters and businesses being part of school. You want to enjoy benefits, please join our programs. If you do not understand it, do as you are told. Can’t pay you extra for that.
Applications for city approvals for outdoor events & insurance : Lot of fundraising events call for city approvals and insurance which sometimes are requested-seperately. To pull those plugs too costs money.
Event setbacks and extras : All the event set backs, delays, and extra costs money and hours. Only prob wiht volunteer events, everything is blamed on students and parents for mistakes these volunteer do. Coz its first time all the time. So, yeah, we don’t want that. When we do our events, we train out people before stepping into these matters so that mistakes don’t happen.
Special Event / Celebrity or Outside projects as part of fundraising : All special event and celebrity asks for % and costs that come with it is pretty good too! None of it is FREE.
Post Event Photo/Video : Post event photo and video production comes with charges and even photographers don’t do it FREE.
Practices : Fundraising practices take more time than regular production practices. Because people who join these on specific purpose for short term goals are not trained in most cases that we had. Coz well seasonsed dancers have usually danced with us on paid plans which means, we value them. We cannot cancel our classes to do these. These groups don’t pay our bills :). Classes do and even our paid dancers are our assets! Not all our students are up to do fundraising. Being proper school, most of them come to learn. They are not even there to showcase enough yet.
Sticking to school curriculam : Same as above. For us doing proper recital or production itself is keeping up to the pace with once a week class and we do not want to charge families for tickets for seeing their own kids for a fundraiser! It is their right to see their kids perform at no cost.
And this list grows. We soon will reach 101 as other reasons get ready :).
We pay for advertisements that we give, we spend time for the ads we give. And we are wondering what is FREE.
We get business from work we do and give ads. We don’t push or even tell our parents to recommend us EVER-even in person. We earn it by our own means. And for now, we are thankful to our own teams for doing all that hard work. So we give back to them-we invest in them.
For community, sure, we will love to do that when we get that support or whatever you want to call it when it comes to business. Our business was always independent business and whatever we have earned is purely with skills and without any experiments or innovations on students or even sponsorships(where we know some dance schools sponsor event and get the wins :).
But yeah, if we have come this far without dependency (votes or likes or sponsorships), it is only because at some point we too have had our practical setbacks and trainings too on how to handle these set-backs. Besides, our business was also affected by those fake teachers (with no background/traceability/proof of trainings) and dirty politics (that other fake teachers play coz can’t win with transparency so yeah start that:).
We sure need money for our own graduates, students and growth to excel and go forward 😉
Our time – money – efforts is that precious with our mainstream work. When we see people who do main-stream work do fundrasiers in their main-stream work-sure we can think about it! May be when people understand how important it is to spend time and money with full traceability of dance and history, and support our business. We will then be grateful and thankful And thus give back!

Ms. Hetal’s Journey in Performing Arts Before 2004 and Her U.S. Establishment
The journey of Ms. Hetal in the performing arts is a testament to a life long passion, value of life, value of time, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to cultural education. With roots deeply grounded in classical and folk traditions, her career began long before her emergence on the American stage.
1993 – 1994 – 1995 – Gujarat, India.
Ms. Hetal was officially introduced as a commercial educational artist in drama between 1993 and 1995. During this period, she entered into a series of contractual programs(seeding projects, one after other – fulfillment of prior projects as requirement, yearly) that showcased a comprehensive repertoire of performances, spanning a range of dance genres.
These early endeavors marked her formal entry into the professional performing arts landscape, laying the foundation for a distinguished career.
1998 – 1999 – Gujarat, India.
By 1999, Ms. Hetal had already begun to make her mark as an Educator. Under the independent mentorship of her guru(s) and PR teams in Mumbai & Hyderabad, she graduated her first cohort of students in India in the classical art form of Bharatanatyam and in a variety of Indian folk dances. This milestone reflected not only her mastery of these traditions but also her growing influence as a teacher and mentor.
In 2003, a new chapter began with her marriage, followed by her relocation to the United States in 2004.
Rather than pausing her artistic pursuits, Ms. Hetal embraced the transition as an opportunity to relaunch her side hustle career in a new cultural landscape. Ms. Hetal began performing solo, participating in competitions, and engaging in various artistic collaborations—all through her own self-established public relations (PR) company. This venture allowed her to manage and promote her work independently, building a strong personal brand within the diaspora community.
From 2004 to 2006 – Michigan, Kansas, Missouri, Dallas & Fortworth | 2005 – 2010 – Dallas, Fortworth, Texas, USA
Ms. Hetal worked independently, earning recognition for her dynamic solo initiatives and unwavering dedication to the performing arts. Her growing schedule and consistent presence in the community eventually created the foundation for something more formal.
2010-2012 – Dallas Fortworth Metroplex, California, USA
In 2011, she transitioned from independent work to a structured model of arts education by founding her own company in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW), Texas area. This marked the beginning of an era characterized by systematic instruction, cultural preservation, and innovative programming in Indian classical and folk dance education.
Ms. Hetal’s journey—rooted in tradition and adapted with innovation—continues to inspire both artists and audiences across continents.

2012 : Grace And Grooves LLC was established and registered in State of Texas by Hetal Nagaraj.
Programs and Clientele Overview:
Indian Folk Dances and Bharatnatyam were the primary programs offered.
Private group sessions, including Couple Dances, Therapy Dance Lessons for Couples, Marriage Parties, Mehndi Nights, Birthday Parties, Sweet 16 Parties, and Bollywood Fusion with Classical Dances, have been ongoing since 1999 under the guidance of Hetal.
The majority of clients were Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) legally settled in the Dallas Metroplex area, including participants from Vidya Vikas Hindu Temple classes, Northlake College, and other local colleges. A smaller portion of the clientele included Non-Indians, such as Mexican, Italian, and African-American participants, as well as students from various religious backgrounds seeking guidance on dance dramas incorporating Indian dances, similar to Hetal Nagaraj’s training.
Over 50 students of all ages, ranging from 5 years old to teenagers and young adults, were registered in these programs.
2013 : Grace Creations performing team was formed
Grace Creations Program Overview
The Grace Creations performing team was established to foster the fusion of various Indian and Non-Indian dance forms and styles. It was designed for experienced and trained dancers seeking to elevate their creativity and perform regularly.
All students were trained exclusively in their respective dance forms and styles, with artist collaborations forming a core part of the program. [Click Here]
Bollywood classes were offered to private groups and friends, specifically targeting select performances or competitions. Student enrollment for these classes was structured as group sign-ups.
Pre-Elementary Bharatnatyam classes were introduced in Irving, Coppell, Keller, and Southlake, Texas, and were exclusively taught by Hetal.
Approximately 15 students were registered for the exclusive Grace Creations program, having been trained in various Non-Indian performing arts through dance institutes and schools. Some students had also earned school credits in their Independent School District (ISD) programs in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Theater, and Lyrical dance.
Other participants included Bharatnatyam students from different styles, Kathak dancers, and Odissi dancers, along with those trained directly by Hetal
What inspired to create these fusions ? Her own daughter’s experiences in non-indian dances.
Background and Formation of Grace Creations and G2 Dance Factory
Ms. Hetal’s daughter received five years of formal training in institutional, educational, and non-commercial dance schools in Tap, Jazz, and Ballet as a pre-competitive and competitive dancer at the city and state levels before transitioning to Indian dances and recreational Hip-hop training.
Her daughter’s decision to leave non-Indian dance forms stemmed from feeling isolated as the only Indian participant when advancing to higher levels. Consequently, she discontinued her training in non-Indian dance forms in 2011 and shifted to Indian dances. Despite this transition, she maintained strong friendships and continued collaborative training in non-Indian performing arts from 2011 onwards, ensuring a positive and safe environment.
Following this experience, in 2011 and 2021, Ms. Hetal encountered several other parents whose children faced similar challenges. This led to the formation of Grace Creations in 2013, inspired by Ms. Hetal’s deep-rooted background and the positive, supportive relationships she had built. Grace Creations was established as a hybrid platform, integrating Indian and non-Indian dance forms.
Subsequently, G2 Dance Factory emerged as an advanced extension of Grace Creations. It was established as a separate brand focused on commercial, professional, and educational governance.
These developments significantly enhanced Ms. Hetal’s existing institutional knowledge and expertise, which she had gained through training with her teachers in India. Her extensive experience working with institutional performing arts schools and choreographers in non-Indian dance forms in the USA provided her with valuable insights. Diversity has consistently been a part of Ms. Hetal’s life since her school and college days, reinforcing her ability to create inclusive and enriching dance programs.

Beginner and intern choreographers conducted guided choreography sessions under the strict supervision and presence of Hetal for all dance forms and styles, including practice sessions.
Mansi and Deepthi actively participated in all performances, leading to the formation of the Elite Level in Bollywood Dance Lessons.

Recreational Classes were introduced in Bollywood and Bharatnatyam(Southlake) for those who don’t want to perform or do it strictly for recreational purpose.
Structured Program was further enhanced for Bharatnatyam, Folk Dances of India, and Bollywood/Tollywood/Indian Movie Dances.
Bollywood/Tollywood Dances got Level by Level structure to focus on body mechanics, movements, ability level as per age and was successfully implemented.
Choreographers started teaching independently their own works with minimal or no supervision or with/without direction from Hetal Nagaraj.
Skype Lessons were introduced for Bharatnatyam, Bollywood And Indian Folk Dances and successfully implemented and continued. Choreographers : Hetal, Buvaneshwari.
Professional Bharatnatyam And Kathak Choreography Classes were introduced for students with background of advance dance forms or dance styles exclusively for competition and special feature purposes.
Classes in Bharatnatyam, Bollywood(Private Group Per Event) and Indian Folk Dances were offered separately in Irving-Texas, Coppell-Texas, Southlake-Texas, Frisco(Private Lessons and Workshops), Plano-Texas, Grapevine-Texas, Keller-Texas, Flowermound-Texas.

Jazz it up is the economy brand that was exclusively launched as an E-commerce brand on and w/name of www.graceandgrooves.com for wholesale costumes.
2016 : Musical Dance Dramas were added to Annual Programs.
The initiative focused on encouraging dramatic dance elements (Natya and Navarasa) under Hetal’s supervision, with 4-8 minute routines based on organizers’ requests. Grace and Grooves aimed to complete all Navarasa by year-end for students across various dance forms.
The Grace Creations Program was temporarily paused.
Classes in Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, and Indian Folk Dances were offered in Irving, Coppell, Southlake (recreational), Frisco (private lessons/workshops), Plano, Grapevine, and Flower Mound, Texas. Bollywood recreational classes continued for dancers not performing regularly.
2017 September And Onwards :
Dance Forms and Bollywood was separated with seperate DBA to submit in different competitions and audiences.

Nruthyakala Folk Dance Academy By Hetal Nagaraj was bought by Ms. Hetal from her own senior and now its a DBA as assumed name for our folk initiatives by curriculam and all that folk activities (unlike other dance academies).
Kalasri Classical Dance Academy :Bharatnatyam Program made it to seperate DBA to submit to different competitions, audiences and to demanding trends of creative Bharatnatyam choreography works from university trainings & past trainings of Hetal Nagaraj’s Mother – Lt. Smt. Daksha Trivedi Joshi (D.M Joshi), Guru(s), Institutes & Schools. Exclusive to Pre-Elementary, Elementary, Standard, Creative and Accelerated Bharatanatyam Dances.
Bharatnatyam Theme & Dance Dramas will dance under Kalasri.
Name is inspired from Kala as in art and Shri/Sri/Shree written as “श्री” in Devanagari. Wherein, Sri is salutation given in tamil language with regards to Bharatnatyam where sri is most acceptable layman term for shri or shree or “श्री”. Likewise in Sanskrit.

Rg2 Dance Productions was formed in collaboration with Raagaleena Dance Academy (A Premier Kuchipudi and Bollywood Indian Dance Company In Irving) for various locations to provide bigger, better and more refined quality dance works for all the Bollywood, Hiphop and related dance productions. Very First Dance Production of RG2 Productions went LIVE in LIVE audience on September 29, 2018 with around 15 advance dancers of Raagaleena Dance Academy and Grace And Grooves LLC in total and with an audience of over 250 people.

2018 December :
RG2 Dance Productions was dissolved with mutual agreement between Grace And Grooves LLC and Raagaleena Dance Academy due to unpredicted emergency travel dates of owner of Raagalaeena Dance Academy.
Anantha-1 was successfully showcased without ANY Bollywood or other dances.

Anish Rangrej Visited DFW AGAIN and this time Dhamaal Events made a louder noise with structured level by level Navaratri Garba & Dodhiya Workshops. From Beginners To Intermediate and Advance. Lot of dancers who had started their workshops with Hetal last year as beginners or intermediate had a chance this Navaratri season to complete their Intermediate and Advance steps with Anish as the sudden dates of his arrival and workshops aligned.

The Elite brand was later launched in 2018-2019 to cater high value customers for commercial productions.
The Elite brand is not named per se but it’s sales was no later than 2021 under www.graceandgrooves.com exclusively under Hetal Joshi M.
2020 April 1 : Grace And Grooves first time Online Classes for existing / enrolled students started (due to shutdown/lockdown due to Covid 19). Classes to her own friend circle, friends, families, dance teachers’ students has been happening from 1999 as continuation.
2020 April : Several new teachers/graduates of Grace And Grooves started first time internships under the leadership of Hetal Nagaraj. Some started their first time teaching internships!
2020 May : Grace And Grooves took over Reachh Mediaa, a blog & artist management company that was owned by freelancer and was taking care of company’s blog/you-tube releases – video submissions from 2013.
2020 May onwards, all the classes including the NEW registration started for DFW Areas of North Texas. Online Class Schedule.
2020 June End Onwards : Santosh, our pre-judgement competition team member started teaching online. He was also our featuring artist for Sarvaa Dance Production 2020 which got postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns/show cancellations.
In 2020, g2 dance factory was formed as DBA and venue-papers were signed in Arlington, Texas, USA. The brand was created by Hetal Nagaraj to create our own teams for Grace Creations Fusion Dance Company and to enter the world of Non-Indian Performing Arts with full trainings for those who are well-settled in USA and have embraced the culture as well as diversity in their life.
For those who don’t know, Ms. Hetal’s own daughter has full 5 years of trainings in institutional/educational/dance school/non-commerical – tap, jazz, ballet as pre-competitive and competitive dancer/teams/city and state level before she moved to Indian Dances and recreational-hiphop training. From 2012 itself, several collaborations continued with her own hiphop/jazz/contemporary teachers under the leadership and other contributions/participations of Hetal Nagaraj from 2013 to 2019 with indian dances for the love of performing arts and create fun-fusions for those students who are 2nd/3rd generations in US. Some recreational batches and performances of hiphop and contemporary also happened in Irving, Lewisville/Carrollton and Southlake from 2013 to 2015 by her own teams who were fully trained under various faculties hour by hour/year by year by her or by teachers she had hired from Coppell Dance Center and other freelance institutional-non-commerical-choreographers. Those teams in 2013 to 2015 won hiphop competitions as well and in 2016 the program was kept on-hold because same teams/students were in the curriculams in Indian Dances. Other than that, their trainings in other hiphop technicalities were required to go to next levels as well.
From academic year of 2019, Grace And Grooves/G1 and Hetal Nagaraj again started her exclusive batches of Hiphop and Contemporary again from they left(with same students). And g2 was then finally established!
2020 marks the year of Grace And Grooves Group where several of our pre-judgement competition judges and team members start teaching regular basis for our online and in-person classes along with Hetal Nagaraj.
Including Hetal Nagaraj, all of them are International Teachers/Dancers/Artists as of 2020.

August 8, 2021 : Hetal Nagaraj broke her own several records & made a history in Entire Performing Arts:
Exclusive by genre – 3 dance productions in 1 day (Anantha Classical Dance Production, Rang Folk Dance Production & Sarva Cinematic Dance Production) featuring Bharatanatyam, Kalaripayattu-Dance, Kalaripayattu- Martial Arts, Chhau Dance & Martial Arts, Indian Folk Dances, Bollywood, Tollywood, Theater/Drama, Dance Drama by genre, Literature and Language Series by Genre, Hiphop, Indian Hiphop, Contemporary, Fashion Show by her teen groups! Each of her production were non-stop 2 hours. First production started at 12 noon and last one ended at 730pm.
Longest Danceathon of straight 19 Mins featuring our pre-competition teams and her national level elites – by genre.
Hetal herself performed a full dance routines with/without her students in Bharatanatyam, Hiphop, Folk Dances, Contemporary, Kalaripayattu, Chhau, Fusions and Fashion Show Routines.
Hetal started her first show w/her students at 19 years under her teachers. Hetal broke her own record of that too when her 18 year old’s first set of students performed flawlessly – that signedup exclusively under Ashna’s own name – NOT under Hetal’s name :). Ashna Pethe.
Hetal’s Graduate Samarth Setty(Age 13) had his first solo student who performed beautifully on stage(Age 7).
Hetal’s own graduate Nirja Setty(15) had her first set of intern classes in Bharatanatyam. Her own student – a 12 year old started her sub-internships as well for those who needed help.

Hetal as well Grace And Grooves Altogether broke our own record this time for having maximum number of LIVE Shoots during the show itself – Outdoor and Indoors as part of our own show on August 8, 2021 without having you-tube channel.
Theater Series Part 2 went LIVE on stage with full dialogues, acting, music/sound and light effects under Hetal.
We broke our own record of having several virtual students – who went on stage as is with full costumes and routines!
Record Breaking 300 people visited as running audience that were our dance school parents-just her own students’ strength and more than 70 students participated in this event. Outsider artists, teams, guest artists etc and texas all star activities were strictly prohibited this time due to Covid.
From March 2020-Aug 2021 : Over a dozen shoots happened for the shows that got cancelled.
Record breaking 8 shows were cancelled due to COVID-19 from March 2020 to August 2021 for which advance planning was done including international artists and several of our own teachers-who visit US often. They all live here & travel often.
The first order of Retail was delivered in Jan 2021 (just after the pandemic lockdown) & before the G2 brand initiation for lease in Arlington. Based on this, in 2021 August, Grace Creations Retail infrastructure was designed, planned and implemented exclusively by Hetal to cater to custom request of retail sales for local dancers for smaller orders.(Less than 15-20 costumes), this included G2.
2021-2022 –
G2 dance factory was registered under Grace And Grooves under Hetal Nagaraj / Hetal M Joshi exclusively. G2 story.
Ms. Hetal faced a multi-million$ fraud from a newly hired volunteer scholar program individual other than the forced inducement by the property manager and vp’s decision for g2 commencement of lease without permission which was just before the newly hired volunteer fraud. This is other than the online financial fraud that occured on our online systems.
The collective fraud and online fraud resulted in huge mess that jammed our online systems “entirely” and several other backlogs everywhere. Individual Saumya was fired the moment everything was caught.
2022 –
Texas All Star Programs was / is paused until further notice.
Reachh Mediaa Artist Management Program is only for own graduates.
August 2022 –
Audition Programs Launch for Sponsored & Performing Programs.
Page was however created in 2025 as the program was stalled in 2022 right after Bhoomi Trivedi’s Sponsored Program of Hetal Nagaraj.
Program was stalled because of massive fraud of 2021-2022 & Ms. Hetal had to put off everything to handle issues.
G2 dance factory plugs were pulled out because of massive damages which resulted in lawsuit which could have avoided if property manager would have coordinated well and if the fraud did not occur. The company lost several clients which were bagged for that location back to back for straight 8-9,months, as a huge pipeline of shoots and scheduled workshops due to sheer negligence of incompetant property manager and during that time as well, the commencement date was not discussed upon and for rather forced without prior notice which resulted in other unprepared issues.
Further more, company saw what it did not see in place like india in 27 years of Ms. Hetal’s own business & 39 years of life such as theft, contract forgery, mess in online systems resulting in jammed systems, mess in stock/inventory registry, chaos, mess in subscriptions, confusions, complaints from venues handled by saumya, deliberate effort to harm Elites by ruining their projects, complaints on code of conduct, slum area behavior of certain parents that was led by saumya and endless police complaints pointing to just one person – saumya and eventually Nritya/Pratap.
All systems of Grace And Grooves run on icloud based applications & portals. We take regular backups of everything from gadgets, gears and company laptops to online activities. Retreiving data was matter of time by dates of backups and was tedious or time consuming and was thus, traceable in 2024! Appropriate steps are taken on this.
Several locations of Ms. Hetal and several other artist’s lives were impacted because of this fraud and delays of g2 which resulted in catastrophic damages in other locations as well because of backlog.
When it comes to Ms. Hetal, YES, you are allowed to dream BIG! That is ms. hetal’s strength and capacity. Company runs on Ms. Hetal exclusively other than all the other activities.
This resulted to complete freeze in hiring and a pause until further notice on Texas All Star Programs, 501 3 c programs.
Year 2024 –
ALL locations were minimized to several operations and activities so that Ms. hetal can focus on clearing all the backlog which further impacted Ms. hetals’ personal life as well and that resulted to several backlogs of several pending family work in personal life. Only Ms. Hetal knows this because this entire build of infrastructure is mastermind of Ms. Hetal. The system backlog took longest time because of integrations to several portals and sensitive information of passwords and phone number to each!

G2 is/was moved out of USA keeping it’s location low key until it reaches international.
March 2025 Hetal successfully delivered an international program through consultations and on paper design of entire production as well as program in 3 cities (internationally while Hetal was in USA) & with extremely happy clients and viral videos of those stage performances all over twitter, youtube and tiktok. It was a big hit!

December 3, 2024 –
United States Patent and Trademark Org (USPTO) grants Grace And Grooves, a registered trademark to Hetal Nagaraj/Hetal Joshi in 8 products and services in education and 8 of them in mainstream entertainment as well!

G2 was acquired by The Settys due to their substantial monetary investment, losing full control on G2 activities and downgraded my own partnership to partial partnership.
The comprehensive restructuring of all company’s technology and its associated brands was initially planned for 2022 & was postponed due to substantial fraud incidents. These incidents resulted in multiple setbacks and excessive costs arising from subscription overload.As a result, the initiative was reintroduced by Ms. Hetal in 2025, as a significant upgrade to the existing infrastructure, focusing on automation and inclusion of Ai tools. Ms. Hetal single-handedly revived and upgraded all brands, companies, and activities from scratch, expanding internationally which is planned to be completed by April 15th, 2025.
