2022 Anantha Ft Rang Dance Production, May 22 and May 29.
2022 Anantha Classical Dance & Theater Production Series had to happen and it happened this way —-
2022 Anantha — Grace And Grooves Production by Hetal Nagaraj
Anantha 2022 was a standalone in-house classical dance and theater production by Grace And Grooves, led by founder Hetal Nagaraj. It was held at Plano Courtyard Theater in Plano, Texas, USA, with an approximately two-hour runtime.
During the same production period, Grace And Grooves dancers also participated in three separate commercial engagements. These were independently booked by producers and clients and were not part of Anantha.
2022 Production Timeline
The production period included rehearsals, Anantha, one separate commercial production, and two seeding projects.
1. Company Rehearsal for all of below (Friday to Sunday)
A one-hour rehearsal was conducted for company dancers in preparation for the scheduled productions.
2. May 22nd Weekend — Commercial Production
A separate producer/client-booked commercial production:
- 45 minutes
- Non-stop performance
- 8 dancers
- Dancers were 16+
3. May 22 — Seeding Project #1
A separate commercial seeding project, booked by the same client who later booked the second seeding project:
- 45 minutes
- Non-stop performance
- 13 students
- Dancers were 16+
4. May 29 — Anantha
The standalone Grace And Grooves Anantha production – in house productions :
- Approximately 2 hours
- 20 own instructed students
- Mixed-age participation
- Classical dance and theater production
- Plano Courtyard Theater, Plano, Texas
5. Company Rehearsal
A second one-hour company rehearsal was conducted in connection with the seeding production#2 schedule.
This was because client requested additional song and a category of party dances. (Party dances are not CLUB dances).
6. May 29 — Seeding Project #2
A second separate commercial seeding project, booked by the same client as Seeding Project #1:
- 45 minutes
- Non-stop performance
- 16 students
- Dancers were 16+
The two seeding projects were separate commercial engagements and were not productions of Anantha.
Anantha at Plano Courtyard Theater
The May dates at Plano Courtyard Theater had originally been booked for another show. That show was cancelled because of the G2 situation, and the available booking was subsequently used for Anantha.
The background of G2’s development can be traced to 2011–2013, during the early years of Grace Creations’ hip-hop work. Hetal Joshi Nagaraj developed her own student base and hip-hop teams through her instruction across the DFW area. G2, Grace Creations, Hiphop
For the 2022 Anantha production, students came together from different Grace And Grooves training environments, including Lewisville, hybrid online training, and the West Frisco/FM 423 area.
Students Performing in Anantha
Approximately 20 students performed in Anantha Ft. Rang Dance Productions – Noon Production.
The participating students represented different areas of the Grace And Grooves training structure, including:
- Annual year-round recreational students
- Grace And Grooves Elite students
- Mixed-age groups
- Texas All Star Program students
- Graduates of Hetal Nagaraj
The production provided students with experience in a complete live production environment, including preparation, rehearsal, stage performance, and post-production responsibilities.
Rehearsals and Production Transitions
The production schedule required company dancers to move between rehearsals, Anantha preparation, and separate commercial production work.
Students transitioned from their regular Grace And Grooves training and company rehearsals into production rehearsals and commercial performances. Some dancers participated in more than one production during the same production period.
This required students to manage different choreography, production requirements, rehearsal schedules, costumes, stage expectations, and performance environments.
Two Hetal Nagaraj Graduates Perform a Full Margam

A major classical dance highlight was the performance by two graduates of Hetal Nagaraj.
The two graduates performed an entire Margam, consisting of a minimum of four major classical dance pieces, before live audiences of approximately 250–300 people.
The Margam was performed three times across two weekends, including twice within the commercial production work itself without break-back to back non stop.
This represented an important progression from student training into advanced classical dance performance for graduates of Hetal Nagaraj’s program.
Separate Commercial and Seeding Projects
The commercial work surrounding Anantha consisted of three separate engagements:
- One producer/client-booked commercial production on May 22
- One seeding project on May 22
- One additional seeding project on May 29
The two seeding projects were booked by the same client.
These commercial engagements operated independently from Anantha and provided Grace And Grooves dancers with additional experience in client-driven production environments.
In-House Photography and Videography
Photography and videography for the company productions were handled by the Grace And Grooves in-house crew, including:
- Nagaraj Kunchum
- Pandya Brothers
The in-house crew documented the performances and production activities as part of the company’s production records.
The 2022 Grace And Grooves Production Record
The 2022 Anantha production stands independently in the production history of Grace And Grooves and Hetal Nagaraj and her own students from scratch aka absolute beginners.
The surrounding commercial work consisted of three separate producer/client engagements, including two seeding projects booked by the same client.
Keeping these productions separately identified preserves the distinction between the Grace And Grooves and Hetal Joshi Nagaraj’s in-house Anantha production and the independently booked commercial work.
Together, the production period gave Grace And Grooves dancers opportunities to work across classical dance, theater, commercial performance, seeding projects, company rehearsals, and live-stage production environments.

outsiders or those who do not belong to company or are not the students or parents of the company — are usually not allowed.
This is just for company’s internal activities and yearly students and Official Brands of Hetal Joshi Nagaraj and various shoots are usually before or after the program, certificates and milestones are awarded and rewarded in these programs.
Students in these production dance for themselves as a completion of their levels as a graduation.
