The Power of Digital Media — Pandemic-Era Online & Hybrid Training
During the pandemic, Ms. Hetal transformed the traditional classroom into a fully digital learning environment, demonstrating how performing-arts education could continue, evolve, and even expand through technology.
At the height of the pandemic, all classes moved online, with five parallel batches being conducted and supervised by Ms. Hetal at the same time.
What could have been a period of interruption became an important chapter in the evolution of the program —bringing structured training, choreography, rehearsals, communication, recordings, and production planning into a digital ecosystem.
In 2017, Company tried an online 12 hour workshop through Dhamaal Events instructed by Arkansas Instructor, but it did not work well.
However, in pandemic — the zoom became more advanced and apple face-time offered much stable modes which led to success of 2020-2021 classes, other than the other success factors.
The experience also demonstrated the power of online and hybrid learning developed through Ms. Hetal’s own systems and methodology. Digital classes were not simply a substitute for the physical studio; they became an extension of the training environment. Students could continue learning remotely while rehearsals, assignments, recordings, archives, and production-related work were coordinated through digital media.
In person rehearsals took place in July end just before the August 1st, the biggest and the longest and highest number production by genre and brands.
The pandemic period also marked an expansion of the organization’s teaching model, involving Ms. Hetal’s own classes, interns, and the company’s first external participant/instructor outside its established internal training structure.
This created an early example of a more distributed model of learning and collaboration—connecting the organization’s internal training ecosystem with external participation through technology.
A Record-Breaking Production Milestone — August 2021
One of the most significant demonstrations of this digital transition came in August 2021, when the program achieved a remarkable milestone of eight productions within the month.
The achievement reflected more than the number of productions itself. It represented the ability to coordinate dancers, training, choreography, rehearsals, recording, digital communication, and production workflows while operating under pandemic-era limitations.
The result was a model in which digital media became an operational tool rather than merely a communication tool.
Ms. Hetal’s direct supervision, initial injection of techniques through pre-recorded class clips send to instructors — across multiple parallel batches, combined with lesson planning instruction, hybrid systems, digital recording, and production coordination, demonstrated how a performing-arts organization could continue creating and delivering work despite the physical limitations imposed by the pandemic.
A Foundation for the Future
The pandemic ultimately became a significant period of experimentation and innovation. The systems developed during this time helped establish a broader digital framework for online instruction, hybrid classes, recorded training, digital archives, remote collaboration, and production management.
What began as a response to extraordinary and rare unlikeable circumstances became part of a longer-term evolution: using digital media to extend the reach of performing-arts education beyond the physical classroom.
The August 2021 production milestone stands as one of the clearest examples of that transition—showing what could be accomplished when traditional performing-arts training was combined with technology, structured supervision, and a digitally connected learning environment.
Consistent Success from 2017-2018 on various digital activities so Brand is allocated, while the brand showed results in 2020-2021 only when Ms Hetal supervised it! Lot of back and forth during supervision—worked.
Ms Hetal will start that later as Ms Hetal is busy with somethings.
