I am a former badminton national player (India). The badminton activity group at Mustang Recreation Center, Irving was newly formed and the activity had just began. This begins the story of my 1st hiphop batch and people are raving about Balaji as if there was some issue. Why do people want to make everything-an issue?

This is story of how hiphop entered my life – One of my student – balaji or his batchmates of my batch are not my grad. He just came for private package with bunch of other folks, co-ed adults private batch. It was when i visited the Mustang-Center to inquire about badminton bookings. I went for court bookings to see if i can play after or before my classes or around my kids classes, in Irving-coppell areas since i had moved to Lewisville areas or was visiting frequently for my own schedules. 2009-2010-2011-2012-2013.

Just those few weeks, my daughter did not quite click to hiphop back then and moved to ballet. As a parent would, i bought combo classes for the whole year (that’s 700$ value) at competitive level and thus, could not cancel as the batches were full and then the season did not have combo lessons.

That was a whole 1.5 to 2 hours gap, and drive back home was 30mins. I had nothing to do but to wait for my daughter’s class to end across the street 5 mins off the road. So when i heard of badminton group, i went there to check about schedules.

Upon introductions, the whole batch expressed to learn Hritik Roshan dance moves. Hritik Roshan dances are not all hiphop so doable for most bollywood dancers. That exact Hritik Roshan group was formed from my that visit while awaiting coach for court and rest is history. My batch was thus initiated with my own sign ups. Nothing more than that. The session concluded when mastered! They all are send emails often if available, they all work full time and one is ER nurse too, so unable to come by. Weekends too are busy. They reply often for something or the other. One of them dances on reels.

This whole process was side by side. i was learning something i just learned myself and mastered too few weeks ago. My own hiphop classmate-batch formed a group and then all adults-moved to Dancers’ Workshop(Lewisville), since Coppell Dance Center did not have advance levels for young adults, so did i. I did not care, something new or badminton, just something for myself to use those 2 hours and thus use those $. So, i used it for myself and learned it.

As a dancer myself, new dance forms and styles are always fun for me.

From other blog entry – In my 20s, Professional Kathak, Bollywood-Cinema through shoot-trainings, cinematography-all came to me like this, later in 2004-Couple Dances because of own personal life corporate challenges, and later in 2009 – Hiphop, all was part of my own everything and besides my own formal trainings. Other additions were Japanese Folk Drama and that was combo class at international dance festival since i wanted one of the industrial hiphop class. #YES

Either way, i did not have to additionally book anything so it somehow sorted well than i myself thought about it.

On other hand, my own hiphop class – me as dancer – led to grace creations. That too, solo founder. I asked my hiphop batch mates with whom i was learning, if interested but by then, my own group was formed with my own kids and my own kids’ and my own friends. And those moms were much younger with younger kids (babies unlike me) so they could not commit.

Parents loved the idea and were tired of thumkas and mass dance bollywood. My own first batch of my own Grace Creations Students were not even fully Indians. Diversity. Thus, hiphop became one my best seller. Pretty much this straight. It’s on my blog about formation of grace creations. Not that i had planned i would say but something that came in along the way i could infuse–include without any additional changes to my anything.

That was not it. Why only Balaji out of all 6 Indians. Balaji’s whole batch’s promo videos and kids videos too created a huge hype in DFW like a wild fire! #Right

Next i knew I had seperate hiphop batches as well and then I continued signing up to next level for myself to learn through progressive workshops. That’s how Hiphop entered my life. I did not even have to take 1 new turn. It fell to me. My schedule, routines, everything was intact.

This is how dance pulls me back. that’s quite a diversion :). Every time, it comes up to put me on top 1%.

I did not even know what hiphop was prior to this whole interesting phase of life. When i asked “what was hiphop”, i was shown some classes in sessions and I loved how beautifully it was done, Keith Green and Marcella Raneri. Till date, I wonder on how hiphop entered my life but, a decision I do not regret to learn. #Evolution

All the other types of fusions very much existed from 70-80s in Movie Industries.

Hiphop took me to places, bollywood could not and I was able to make people aware of bollywood too by infusing these forms. Industrial level projects, gigs, to be able to align to American-Non Indian Markets and as well get gigs for other forms, most of these ask for contemporary, hiphop, and such styles.

Around 2009-2010-2011, indian movies and remixes were new trends of all hiphop. That was a Bingo, easy entry to all industrial gig worlds along with fashions and basic bollywood. By 2019, I rode the whole Hiphop, Hiphop Fusions wave, all the way to California clients. The whole indian flair went crazy. #YES

Currently, its belly dance and we will let it pass.

It is not allowed for untrained individual or any individual who does not have supervision to conduct such activities.
  2. Must complete internal company infra trainings to understand how it works, so that you do not mess with others work.
  3. Must comply to code of ethics. Family environments.
  4. Company will take no responsibility or liability if process is not followed, approved for or not permitted legally.
  5. Guests or certain age individuals are not allowed unless permitted to be on site, during certain activities as it may result to accidents. And for which, waivers are to be signed.

Unfortunately, 5 months of probationary period is compulsory to pass through for all Texas All Star Talents By Hetal Nagaraj programs. #Right

Only because usually it is 3 months at corporate level(paid jobs) but universities and ISD function little differently and the confirmations could take up-to a month for any process. So we provide other 2 months as extra for those educational process that cannot be rushed. #YES

Magnitude of activities that company is into, one has to do all internal tutorials, internal company specific trainings, compliance to understand what we do. All of Hetal Nagaraj’s this brand people undertook one such activity.

1. NJHS Scholar and School Programs – Brand 38.

  1. Also known as NJHS or Scholar Path Programs as till date, volunteer lead programs, initiatives after achieving certain level.
  2. Earn While You Learn Programs are for legal residents, H4, H4 EAD, GC, NJHS scholar students, university lead-enrolled students and students enrolled in Hetal Nagaraj Dance-International’s annual programs. It is compulsory at all times to maintain this status.
    • Texas all star talents does not operate for any other visa, at all. It is explicitly mentioned on website.
  3. It is not for outsiders (at all) as it benefits these category of immigration status holders & for students.
  4. Contract breaches upon any immigration fraud, failure to maintain status, failure to report regularly on immigration status and when not followed, it triggers breach of contract law as it then becomes violation of federal law itself. #YES
  5. Enrollment in above status aka college, university or such global certification is required at all times to be part of it.
  6. Hetal Nagaraj supervises in classes for all of Texas All Star Talents By Hetal Nagaraj. It is mandatory to follow the task as assigned and must be completed just as asked.
  7. Without supervision, it is not allowed means it is not.
  8. This qualifies for University enrolled students who are looking for lead positions, often volunteer initiatives.
