2024 – 2025 Recital ft. Anantha Dance Production

2024 – 2025 Recital ft. Anantha Dance Production.

2024 – 2025:
The Future of Dance Education and Era of Larger Projects.

During 2024–2025, Hetal Joshi Nagaraj focused extensively on upgrading data management systems, digital infrastructure, and console-based operational systems for Grace and Grooves.

As part of this major behind-the-scenes transformation, new large-scale batches and major programs were temporarily restricted so that critical infrastructure upgrades could receive the attention they required.

Anyway, it was build on part time until 2019-2020 on weekends only with a specific schedule. #YES

The data management systems were on a 10 year routine in 2021-2022 but were delayed because of 2021-2022 fraud.

Inevitably, the data management is the most essential part of business!

October 2022 – 2025 –

The larger productions were placed on pause to focus on all the g2 mess and right after —- archival documented records of Hetal Joshi Nagaraj, Hetal’s own family generations and her own kids documented records along with companies own, Grace and Grooves continued to remain active through smaller local workshops, training programs, gigs, and selected performance opportunities.

This approach allowed the organization to maintain its artistic and educational momentum while simultaneously rebuilding and strengthening its archival documented records and data accessibility, post fraud era.

Data and device upgrade cycle.

A Weekend-Long Dance and Performing Arts Production

One of the notable productions during this period extended across an entire week and brought together multiple components, including three introductory PR and recital shoots, two international competition submission, backlog educational PR releases that were paused in 2022 because of stalled systems.

This was partly to Elite Line launch programs, and the main recital itself.

The production featured a diverse group of performers, including:

  • Post-Arangetram Bharatanatyam students
  • Bharatanatyam correction students
  • Intermediate-level Bharatanatyam students of Hetal Joshi Nagaraj Plano-121 Mcdermott-Allen location.
  • Mixed-level Bollywood students of Lewisville location.
  • Students participating through Grace & Grooves online training

The production brought together 25 student performers and approximately 95 audience members, creating a personal touch with every family yet diverse showcase of classical dance, Bollywood, contemporary performance, and creative choreography.

Why 2024 to 2025

Some performances and PR shoots extended to 2025.

This production hall booking was done during 2022 mess and logistics were not appropriately discussed which caused confusions of various events that are done during the productions.

The program was thus moved to Frisco 3 months prior to actual venue because of this confusion. It was later revealed that this confusion was deliberate act by the 2022-fraud.

Thus, PR shoots and some performances lasted in span of months and 2025 was the last one.

Thus, the production is said to complete in 2025. #YES

Production Highlights

Among the highlights were a solo EDM performance series, a patriotic performance inspired by the Salt Satyagraha, and a freestyle performance by Hetal Joshi Nagaraj.

A student of Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, Frisco, Texas, USA was a special guest of honor to recite faith scriptures on vedic books of knowledge as a special guest performer.

Every year, in every production – one such artist is invited from just about anywhere in the in-house productions to showcase the skilled learnings of their own isd or faith.

The production demonstrated the versatility of Grace and Grooves’ trainings—bringing together Bharatanatyam, Bollywood dance, freestyle, contemporary musical influences, and performance storytelling within one production environment thereby inviting new skilled artists in DFW.

Online Bharatanatyam Training Takes the Stage on Post Arangetram Levels.

A particularly meaningful highlight was the participation of online students Manya and Anushree, who performed a 20-minute Varnam that they had learned exclusively through online training with Hetal Joshi Nagaraj, and few other skillful learnings of post arangetram topics.

This duo is milestone in history of Grace And Grooves Corp of the most successful online trainings in Bharatanatyam from scratch by Hetal Joshi Nagaraj through out.

Their performance demonstrated how structured digital dance education can extend beyond geographical boundaries and provide students with opportunities to learn and perform substantial classical repertoire through online instruction.

Hosted at Frisco Event Center

The production was conveniently hosted at Frisco Event Discovery Center in Frisco, Texas, providing a central setting for students, families, and audiences to experience the recital and associated Grace And Grooves programs.

Although low key in scale, the production represented something much larger for the organization: a bridge between artistic continuity and infrastructure rebuilding.

The production lasted for 3.5 hours.

From Pause to Rebuilding

The temporary reduction in larger activities was intentional and was anticipated based on g2’s passive setup as per plans of Hetal Joshi Nagaraj and Hetal was to focus on data management.

Grace and Grooves used this period to restart and strengthen major digital and operational infrastructure projects that had been stalled since 2022.

The organization had been navigating through massive disturbances because of catastrophic damages and data-management challenges following repeated fraud-related setbacks that stalled digital operations.

Rather than expansion, as the foundational systems required attention, Hetal Joshi Nagaraj chose to prioritize data organization, digital asset management, infrastructure upgrades, and operational modernization.

This production therefore became more than a recital. It represented a period of transition—maintaining the artistic spirit of Grace and Grooves while laying the groundwork for stronger, more organized, and digitally enhanced future programs.

Grace And Grooves: Continuing the Journey

The 2024–2025 period reflected a balance between performing arts education, student development, digital transformation, and organizational rebuilding.

Even during a period of limited large-scale activity, Grace and Grooves continued to provide opportunities for students to train, perform, and grow.

While awaiting the trademarks and copyrights and expansion permits to industrial worlds, it was necessary to arrange data and device upgrade accessibility.

The production served as a humble but meaningful reminder that sometimes progress happens behind the scenes—through rebuilding systems, preserving valuable data, strengthening infrastructure post fraud era, and preparing for the next chapter of creative growth on larger scale.

Several PR packages originally purchased in 2021, well before many students entered their 11th or 12th grade years, remained pending and were subsequently completed and delivered during 2025–2026 in accordance with the applicable invoices.

This timing allowed students to receive their PR materials at an important stage of their academic journey—just in time for college admissions, portfolios, and other age-appropriate PR goals and opportunities.

Despite delays caused by stalled systems, the PR deliverables were successfully completed and delivered, with many students having already graduated by the time their pending PR packages were fulfilled. Some graduated years before their high school as their journey with Hetal Joshi Nagaraj had began at tender age of 3, 4 and 5 years!

The longest production event in history of company itself.

Reflections of Hetal Joshi Nagaraj’s Training Journey — The Foundations Behind Grace And Grooves®

Reflections of Hetal Joshi Nagaraj’s Training Journey — The Foundations Behind Grace And Grooves®

Grace And Grooves® is not simply the result of one institution, one teacher, or one style of training.

It is the reflection of a lifelong educational and artistic journey shaped by schools, colleges, gurus, family, mentors, institutions, and generations of performing-arts influence.

At the heart of that journey is Hetal Joshi Nagaraj, whose training and experiences became the foundation for the educational philosophy, curriculum, and multidisciplinary approach of Grace And Grooves®.

1. Mt. Carmel — Early Educational Foundations

Pre Elementary to Grade 7 —

Hetal’s early educational experiences at Mt. Carmel contributed to the discipline, structure, confidence, and learning environment that would later influence her approach to teaching.

For Hetal, education was never separated from creativity. Academic learning and artistic development existed alongside one another, creating an early understanding that students can be trained through both structured education and creative exploration.

2. St. Xavier’s — Education, Discipline & Exposure

Grade 8 to Grade 11th

Her association with St. Xavier’s further strengthened this foundation.

The academic environment, institutional discipline, exposure to different learning experiences, and emphasis on education became part of the broader framework that Hetal would eventually bring into her own training methodologies.

3. Hetal’s Own Formal Gurus

Age 5 to Age 17

Beyond academic institutions, formal guru-shishya training became an important part of Hetal’s artistic development.

Her gurus provided something different from conventional schooling: intensive artistic discipline, repetition, observation, correction, tradition, performance standards, and an understanding of the responsibility that comes with carrying an art form forward.

These experiences remain visible in the philosophy of Grace And Grooves® — respecting formal training while also adapting education to contemporary students.

4. Hetal’s Own Mother — The First and Most Personal Influence

Age 3.5 to Life long.

One of the deepest influences in Hetal’s journey was her own mother.

Her mother passed away while Hetal was in the end of 12th grade board exams, making her influence particularly significant in retrospect.

A mother’s influence is not limited to formal lessons. It can be reflected through values, education, expectations, discipline, culture, family traditions, and the environment created during childhood.

For Hetal, this influence became part of the foundation upon which later academic and artistic training was built.

By the time of 9th grade, Hetal learned everything. Hetal was in race with the time until her mother was mobile.

Documented journals, clips, pictures of family photographer, concert photographers pictures to name a few.

5. Hetal’s Mother’s Educational Journey

The influence also extended through her mother’s own educational experiences — her school, college, and university background.

These experiences contributed to the educational environment Hetal grew up around and helped establish the importance of education, institutional learning, and continuous development.

Since Hetal was brought up in relatively new infrastructure phase of city itself (Gandhinagar, Gujarat) —- all her life she has seen the whole process of infrastructure happening right in front of her own eyes and her own family was part of it in “developing it from ground zero” which then led to freelance solo preneur journey.

Talk about city which was a forest! 1st temple, 1st church, 1st mosque to establishments of schools.

Grace And Grooves® therefore carries an educational philosophy that extends beyond dance alone.

Schools → Mumbai University

Family background

6. Hetal’s High School — A Teachers’ Training Center

A G Teachers – 11th Grade and 12th Grade.

An especially meaningful part of Hetal’s educational journey was attending a high school associated with a teachers’ training center.

Exposure to an environment connected with teacher education offered an early perspective into how teaching itself is a discipline.

This distinction is important.

Grace And Grooves® is not only about learning a performance skill. It is also about how that skill is taught, structured, practiced, documented, developed, and passed on to another generation.

This led to Foundations of Training and Development Worlds.

7. Hetal’s Colleges — Rajasthani & Marwadi Jain Institutions

L J College of Commerce, Gujarat University, IIM, AMA, ICFAI Ahmedabad, Tata Infotech.

Hetal’s college years included experiences at Rajasthani and Marwadi Jain colleges, adding another layer to her educational and cultural exposure.

These environments contributed to her understanding of community, culture, education, organizational structures, and the importance of preserving traditions while continuing to evolve.

Her later work would combine these influences with performing arts, education, entrepreneurship, and community-oriented programming.

This exposure led to travels to Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Indore and across Gujarat.

8. Formal Guru Training in Folk Arts

Hetal’s training was not limited to classical dance.

Her formal folk-art guru training expanded her understanding of India’s diverse performing-arts traditions.

Folk arts bring their own vocabulary of movement, rhythm, community expression, storytelling, celebration, and regional identity.

This broader exposure became important to Grace And Grooves®, where classical, folk, Bollywood, theater, fitness, and other performing-arts disciplines can exist within a larger educational ecosystem.

9. Formal Bharatanatyam Guru Training

Hetal’s formal Bharatanatyam guru training represents one of the strongest classical foundations within her artistic journey.

Bharatanatyam requires discipline, rhythm, body control, expression, repertoire, theoretical understanding, and sustained practice.

That formal foundation continues to influence the way classical dance is approached through Grace And Grooves® — with respect for tradition while creating accessible and organized contemporary learning environments.

10. A Strong Family Influence — Classical Arts, Education & Cinema

Hetal’s artistic development also comes from a strong and continuing family influence across classical arts, education, and cinema.

This is an ongoing influence rather than something limited to childhood.

Family exposure to multiple dimensions of Indian culture and entertainment helped create a broader understanding of the relationship between education, performance, production, storytelling, and the entertainment industry.

This multi-generational perspective is reflected in Grace And Grooves® as an organization that looks beyond dance classes toward a larger performing-arts ecosystem.

11. The Next Generation — Gurus’ Children & Institutes

The influence of Hetal’s gurus did not necessarily end with her direct training.

The children of some of her gurus have continued into the arts and operate or contribute to their own institutes and educational platforms extending Hetal’s vision to more than one generation.

The amazing part of this is Hetal’s guru’s children’s kids and graduates’ kids moved to USA and first contact was/is Hetal Nagaraj and the journey for the future generation just continues as an on-going cycle of multi-generational trainings, adding value to each others generations through trainings, and relations.

This represents one of the most meaningful aspects of traditional artistic education: knowledge travels through generations.

Guru → student → next generation.

Hetal by herself has created more than 12 Very First Generation of Performing Arts, as some of the most successful graduates in DFW, Texas, USA Graduates, Elites and Elite Lines.

In short, hetal was student of her gurus.

This generation – hetal is their guru or mentor :).

12. The Ahmedabad Institutional Circle — Ad Hoc Workshops & Training

Alongside formal training, Hetal’s artistic journey also included exposure to a wider circle of institutions in Ahmedabad through ad hoc workshops, trainings, and artistic interactions through private 1-1 class because of school and college time constraints during Hetal’s higher secondary school years. 11-12th grade.

Among the institutions associated with this broader circle are Darpana-Usmanpura, Mudra-student project, Navrang-Paldi and other organizations and training environments.

These experiences provided additional exposure after the completion of trainings and infinite boundaries of any single guru or institution.

Influences of Darpana to be specific

2004 onwards – USA

Latin Couple Styles USA

Hip hop

Latest – MFA – Tamil University – Bharatanatyam – 2 years travel to India for 1 month.

– 1 masters paper exam awaiting from university. The exam was during pandemic year and since then Hetal is awaiting the closure.

From Many Foundations to One Educational Vision

The story behind Grace And Grooves® is therefore much larger than a single dance lineage.

It represents the intersection of:

Family → Education → Gurus → Classical Arts → Folk Arts → Teachers’ Training → Colleges → Cultural Institutions → Cinema → Workshops → Generational Learning → Entrepreneurship → Performing-Arts Education → Commercial → Professional →Industrial → Career → Growth, Fashion, Movies, or Institutional → Money 🙂

Each experience contributed something different.

Some provided discipline.

Some provided artistic technique.

Some provided academic structure.

Some provided cultural context.

Some provided teaching methodology.

Some provided performance exposure.

Some provided entrepreneurial understanding.

With some just an exposure to cycle of growth, money and relationships.

And some provided the personal values that made it possible to continue.

The Grace And Grooves® Philosophy

Grace And Grooves® is built upon this accumulated journey.

Its approach recognizes that a performing artist can be simultaneously:

A student.
A teacher.
A performer.
A creator.
A researcher.
A producer.
A mentor.
An entrepreneur.

The institution therefore reflects Hetal Joshi Nagaraj’s belief that performing-arts education should not be confined to learning steps.

It should develop discipline, cultural understanding, creativity, confidence, performance skills, educational awareness, and the ability to continue learning.

The journey from Mt. Carmel and St. Xavier’s, through formal teachers and gurus, family influences, colleges, folk and Bharatanatyam training, Ahmedabad institutions, workshops, and generations of artistic influence ultimately became part of the foundation of Grace And Grooves®.

Grace And Grooves® is, in many ways, a reflection of the teachers, institutions, family, traditions, and experiences that shaped Hetal — carried forward into a new generation of learners.

FAQ on Dance and Faith

FAQ on Dance and Faith

A personal hearty message to those who dance in todays world —–

I do not have a predetermined reason to focus on any particular literature, culture, language, people, religion, faith, or specific subject matter per se. My selections are generally driven by the events, opportunities, and anticipated needs that I foresee, and its market. Lot of times, student signup drives it. My curriculam is thus much diverse.

If somebody has such feelings about it, definitely must do it on own or can easily find a place that specifically goes by it. When you run a dance training center, and having sign ups ahead of time, private packages and whole lot of brands — I just cannot afford to be choosy on specifics of one religion, culture, language, people, faith or religion.

And then comes part — at times most of batch is formed way before i even publicly announce it — which means some batches are formed before open house and thus, majority wins as those batches do learn to perform in their personal functions atleast something towards the end of the year.

How about certain respect for dance form itself as most classical dances are merely handicapped without use of certain literature or at times faith itself. I cannot argue on certain topics. That’s how it is in every classical dance. #YES
Plus the awards are by several of these subject matter – it becomes too plain without a subject matter to dance aimlessly throughout the performance. How much music to get by through out!

This is just a thought based on all the productions and performances as well scale at which I personally instructed, supervised to my students.

Please don’t tell me that a Qawwali can simply be selected without considering references to Khuda. If it does not invoke Khuda, it often has romantic love as its central subject matter—which can, in itself, become an issue for some younger students and their parents.

The same challenge exists across classical and folk traditions. An invocation in classical dance will naturally often include the name or reference to a deity. Even something as seemingly simple as Gujarati folk music may include the name of a goddess. A significant portion of Kathak repertoire contains references to Khuda or related cultural and spiritual terminology.

Very few traditional dance pieces are completely free of references to a culture’s gods, goddesses, spirituality, or romantic themes. That makes repertoire selection extremely challenging—very challenging!

We certainly have plenty of music to work with, but the question is not simply whether music exists. The real challenge is finding repertoire that is culturally authentic, artistically appropriate, age-appropriate, and comfortable for the families involved. That requires much more thought and careful selection. Productions are challenging.

Not that i have not done those. Other way to understand this is – Christmas has carols! Directly places jesus, mary and such relevance in the drama or songs or dances.

Let me add to this, as a convent kid all my life — I honestly had no problems learning about carol singing either for straight 4 years, and today, i do work around catholic charities too. The mindset needs to be cleared. I honestly had no problems learning “shayaris”, or iranian folk either :). As i evolved, i added couples latin influenced dance styles to my portfolio, and much later Hiphop. This allowed me to grow.

MINDSET!

For some reason, the bharatanatyam based on Jesus works have not been cleared. Unsure why, but this is all i know. Some kerala dancers have performed those beautifully but was not accepted.

I sure hope, someday it is! I think the contradictory part of this is not the dance but whole essence of raagam thalam which follow through the composition which then has not been created to other religious compositions. Hopefuly soon it will.

Performing arts have come this far, should be fine later as well 🙂

An artist growth does depend on various factors in performing arts rather than just the dance part. Variety is always the best spice.

All the time dance on plain music becomes mentally challenging. At some point, you have to work around expressions, dramas, stories of folk lores, fables or sometimes some dances based on other subject matter or through invocations and such dance items. It is very difficult to just have music throughout.

At times, my batches are extremely diverse and when this happens, automatically my songs and compositions change. As one of the most diverse businesses in DFW, i have by far earned that much love and respect to have people from all walks of life, religion, faiths, cultures, or language. But then, with this, there are limitations to participations itself because of this very reason!

By far, some of the most beautiful compositions are based on various cultures, religious subjects, folk lores, gods, goddesses. As much as I hate to admit this, it is fact.

#YES

Please adjust and tread through.

Hetal Joshi Nagaraj didn’t just survive but she fought through fraud, rebuilt from the wreckage, and turned adversity into a success that provided a auto-entry to international worlds for all brands.
